Connection methods about hydraulic hose

When matching the hydraulic hosefitting with other equipment, it is the most critical step to ensure the sealing between the hydraulic hose and the rubber hose. Let's take a look briefly below:

 

1. The connection and sealing method of hydraulic hose fitting and rubber hose -- the inner and outer threads of the quickfitting should be connected with the rubber hose only after the transition fitting or conversion fitting is used.

 

2. Hydraulic hose fitting and hose connection sealing method -- no matter there are many kinds of hosefitting, according to the type of hosefitting to choose how to use the transitionfitting. If the hose is an ordinary water pipe, it will use a transition fitting, one end of the inner tooth, a pipe, and then fixed with a hose clamp. If the two ends of the hose are internal teeth, then the transition fitting is an internal tooth and an external tooth. If both ends of the hose are external teeth, it should be straight with the transition joint, the inner teeth.

 

3. Hydraulic hosefitting and rubber hose connection sealing method - general hydraulic quick change fitting, is to withstand high pressure, so, in most cases is to use high-pressure tubing, most of the two ends of the tubing is to do internal teeth, so it should be able to be directly connected.

The connection method

 

1. Connection - pressure range :250 -- 800 Bar; Applicable steel pipe size range: 4-42 mm; Suitable material: carbon steel and stainless steel.

 

The sleeve type pipefitting is composed of three parts:fitting , sleeve and nut. When the sleeve and nut sleeve are inserted into the fitting body on the steel pipe, when the nut is tightened, the outer side of the front end of the sleeve is attached to the cone surface of the fitting, and the inner edge is evenly bitten into the seamless steel pipe to form an effective seal.

 

Advantages: widely used mature; Relatively low price of components; No special machines required.

 

Disadvantages: only suitable for pipe connection below 42mm; Not suitable for thin-walled pipe; Large installation space and torque are required during installation; Not suitable for high safety conditions; Can not be used in strong vibration, impact and pulse conditions.

 

2.JIC thread 37-degree fitting connection - pressure range :420 Bar(250 Bar, 100 Bar); Applicable steel pipe size range: 6-38 mm; Applicable materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, copper alloy, etc.

 

JIC 37 degree joint is composed of three parts:fitting, bushing and nut. When the bushing and nut are set into the steel pipe, the steel pipe end is formed by the flaring device, and then the joint body and the nut are tightened and sealed by the conical contact surface rigid seal and O-ring seal.

 

Advantages: widely used mature; Wide range of applicable materials; Simple and convenient installation; Repeatable disassembly and assembly.

 

Disadvantages: only suitable for pipe connection below 38mm; Low nominal pressure (except DNV standard); Not suitable for thick wall pipe; Need flaring equipment end molding.

 

3. Walform - Pressure range :250 -- 800 Bar; Applicable steel pipe size range: 4-42 mm; Applicable materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloy, etc.

 

Walform connection is an alternative to card - sleeve connection. After the female sleeve into the steel pipe, the forming equipment at the end of the steel pipe automatically extrusion molding, into the sealing ring, and then thefitting and nut tightening, through the fitting body and forming surface of the rigid seal and seal ring sealing.

 

Advantages: Low torque and safe installation; The production process is quick and simple; Advanced technology without leakage; Repeatable disassembly and assembly.

 

Disadvantages: only suitable for pipe connection below 42mm; The end of the molding equipment is required.

 

4. Socket welding connection - pressure range :420 Bar(for small pipe diameter only); Applicable steel pipe size range: 6-150 mm; Suitable material: carbon steel and stainless steel.

 

Socket welding connection is the pipe into the valve body for welding, forming and internal thread connection appearance similar.

 

Advantages: widely used; Low component price; Advanced technology without leakage; Simple connection for low voltage systems.

 

Disadvantages: Need skilled welders; Need welding equipment, good ventilation and fire prevention measures; Require special cleaning and anti-corruption treatment; It will lead to environmental pollution.

 

5. Butt welding connection - pressure range :500 Bar(only for small pipe diameter); Applicable steel pipe size range :6 -- 608 mm; Suitable material: carbon steel and stainless steel.

 

There are butt weld flange connections and butt weld fitting connections.

 

Advantages: widely used; Low component price; Advanced technology without leakage; Simple pipe-to-pipe connection.

 

Disadvantages: Need skilled welders; Need welding equipment, good ventilation and fire prevention measures; Require special cleaning and anti-corruption treatment; It will lead to environmental pollution.
